It is a delightful challenge to be of service to the Indonesian community in Edmonton and surrounding areas which would include Lacombe, Fort Saskatchewan and Morinville.

Together with the staff in this new leadership, we will do our best to provide opportunities for everyone with Indonesian ancestry and/or relations to:

• be channels of blessings and share God's love in action
• promote the diversity in culture, food and people as well as the richness of Indonesia to the people in Edmonton, and Alberta as a whole
• make friends, enjoy friendship and stay connected
• improve personal relationship and skills
• have fun and have a place to belong

As said earlier, this leadership is a 'delightful' task because of the opportunity to honor the Creator at the same time to show allegiance to my ancestral country, Indonesia. With this delight also comes the 'challenging responsibilities' of being a leader, just like the captain of a ship who in whatever circumstances, should sail the boat to its destination. The promise in the Scriptures is what I hold, "my God will supply all my needs according to His riches in glory." With an open heart to serve and willingness to put love into action, I will leave the rest to Him who will supply the wisdom and humble heart that I need in the service of men, for His honor.
